Abismo

.  Talvez o abismo nos engula
Talvez cheguemos a Atlântida
.  Talvez não tenhamos mais a força de mover montanhas.
.  Mas somos o que somos.

a youtube comment: «The words are from Alfred Lord Tennyson's poem, "The Lady of Shalott," from the 19th c. Although this is sung beautifully, the actual poem doesn't end that well for the Lady--she dies. Many of the poem's verses are left out in the song so that it isn't as melancholic as the poem.»

J.W. Waterhouse's The Lady of Shalott, 1888

"The Lady of Shalott" is a Victorian ballad by the English poet Alfred, Lord Tennyson (1809–1892). Like his other early poems – "Sir Lancelot and Queen Guinevere" and "Galahad" – the poem recasts Arthurian subject matter loosely based on medieval sources.  (fonte)
